Reeves Nelson Cleared For Non-Contact Drills

By Bruin Basketball Report

Freshman Reeves Nelson was cleared to practice in non-contact drills only for the next two days after sustaining a concussion in the Bruins' last game against California, the UCLA Athletic Department announced today.

Nelson suffered the concussion on his first touch of Saturday's game against California.  The injury occurred when he and California center Markhuri Sanders-Frison collided early in the first half.

This explains a lot. Concussion plus Cal collapsing on Reeves equaled Reeves not having his best game.

No pain, no gain...this will only make Reeves better.

Definitely explains why Reeves was off touch for the game. Hope he gets better.
