Five Bruins Miss Practice With Injuries

By Bruin Basketball Report

UCLA now has five scholarship players on the inactive list for practice.

Joining sophomore guard Jerime Anderson (groin) and senior forward James Keefe (shoulder) on the injured list are sophomore guard Malcolm Lee (concussion), freshman forward Brendan Lane (ankle) and freshman forward Mike Moser (back).

Lee sustained a very mild (grade one) concussion yesterday and sat out of today’s practice for precautionary measures. He is listed as day-to-day and is scheduled to follow up with the doctor tomorrow.

Moser suffered a lower back strain in practice today. He is also listed as day-to-day and will be seeing the doctor tomorrow.

Brendan Lane suffered a left ankle sprain in practice today. The X-ray hasn’t been read, but he is expected to be out 1-2 weeks. He will be joining his teammates at the doctor’s office tomorrow.

Anderson will also have a follow-up tomorrow with the doctor for his strained left groin. He is not expected to return to practice this week.

UCLA has a regularly scheduled day off tomorrow and returns to practice on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
