Bruins Player Injury Update

By Bruin Basketball Report

Senior center Alfred Aboya's MRI on his left wrist was negative and he is probable for the Bruins' next game on Saturday against Florida International.

Aboya completed 100 percent of today's team practice with full contact.

While practicing today freshman Malcolm Lee suffered a sprained right ankle (grade one) and junior forward Nikola Dragovic suffered a left knee contusion

Both players are listed as day-to-day and should return to practice in a day or two and be available for Saturday's game.

Oh by the way, where would be without BBR? I bet BBR sits on the bench....
Last year he told us when Kevin Love got a back scratch, and that was at practice....
You are the man BBR!
Simply stellar reporting...get rid of the guy in the LA times who likes SC...

I think we all truly appreciate BBR. He is our Sgt. Joe Friday, "just the facts"!
BruinFan, who is the LA Times baffoon you are referring to? Is he as bad as Keith "University of Southern California" Jackson was when broadcasting SUC games? I know he went to Washington U, but he was so far up the *ss of the Cardinal & Gold he was bleeding a nasty shade of (Charles) White. Personally, I was so glad when he retired!

I think Mr. Baffoons name is TJ Simers...he's always rippin our boys football team...i.e. "Coach Dullard" (probably started that one) He must be a UCLA hater....I get tired of his Pg 2 nonsense...who knows, maybe he went to UCLA and wants to motivate our guys...
Happy Thanksgiving to all...now, go feed the homeless...

Love to hear that we are shifting to motion offense. Though there may be moments when we don't run it correctly and it might look bad, by the end of the season, I think it takes better advantage of our athleticism. We have the horses to make it work.
We need to impose our will on the teams that play us, not vice-versa. I love how Duke is really good at drawing fouls with their motion offense. It's a little frustrating how many inferior teams can stay within striking distance because we ourselves milk the shot-clock before trying to score. I guess I'm just one of many thankful that this change is coming...
On a side note, the more video I see of Tyler Honeycutt, the more I like him. Put him in the high-post against Michigan, and he will tear it up. What a great passer--and he is pretty athletic, too.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody.

Bee: Excellent post. Not sure if we are so much "shifting" as opposed to "adding". We previously had too much of Howland barking out a play, the play breaks down, and Collison dribbles the ball around for another 20 seconds. I think this is going to be a team that will improve substantially by tournament time. But there is a LOT of work to do on both offense and defense. I suspect the defense (which right now is way below UCLA standards) will improve fastest. Not only will the team have to learn the motion, but we will need to sort out who is going to do what. Should be the most fun since Howland's first trip to the final four. A rollercoaster, but fun.
