2007-08 UCLA Bruins Basketball Roster

The UCLA Bruins open the 2007-08 season with eleven scholarship and five walk-on players on the roster.
Love received permission from UCLA Hall of Fame great Walt Hazzard to wear his No.42 this season. UCLA had retired Hazzard's number during a ceremony in 1996.
Lorenzo Mata, the lone scholarship senior on the team, will now go by Lorenzo Mata-Real.
UCLA Men's basketball team will hold its first practice of the season on Friday, October 12th in Pauley Pavilion. The team's first game of the season is an exhibition contest against Azusa Pacific on November 2nd.

I had heard a few months back that Abdul-Hamid had requested to wear #4... does this mean that he's since changed his mind?
Interesting about Abdul-Hamid, I question his judgement though of wanting to wear the uniform the following season after the departure of fan favorite Arron Afflalo. It would show some respect if no player wore that uniform for at least a year or two. Perhaps Abdul-Hamid thought better of it?
