What a monster. I was there and I am still blown away. He plays with a huge chip on his shoulder- possibly a product of teams fouling, double and triple-teaming him, and trying to rough him up. He's got such a great competitive spirit and he really is the real thing.
I was there too. He is such a skilled big man with a nice soft touch. Can't wait to have him here at UCLA.
I also attended this game. Kevin Love was just awesome as he dominated play on both ends of the court! His skills are superb, and he is a real competitor. I was equally impressed with him as being a Great Team Player. Bruin fans are going to love Love...he'll really fit Ben Howland's system...and instantly make everyone around him better. Can't wait the for 2007 season! Go Bruins!!!
9 blocks! That boy is quick off his feet!! This game lacked a formidable big man from the other team. I can't wait to see him go against a real big man. He's dominating right now though. Yes, he is the real deal. Welcome to the Dynasty Mr. Love!!
My nephew Kevin is indeed the real deal. My friends and I here on Kauai, where I am still an avid surfer at age 60, are all looking forward to watching Kevin start for UCLA as a freshman next year. He is a phenom and a once-in-a-lifetime talent - and a nice kid to boot. The excitement is building in Westwood as well it should be!
