Bruins Alter Schedule To Accomodate Pac-10

The UCLA's 2006-07 men's basketball schedule has been finalized with changes to accommodate the Pac-10's television schedule.
On Feb. 15, UCLA will be at Arizona St. followed by a Feb. 17 visit to Arizona. (instead of Arizona then Arizona St.) The change allows CBS to televise a marquee Pac-10 matchup between two preseason Top 10 teams, UCLA and Arizona, on a Saturday.
The Bruins make four nationally or regionally televised appearances on CBS this season. In addition to Arizona, contests againsts Texas A&M (Wooden Classic), Michigan, and West Virginia will be televised on CBS.
Another change in the schedule involves the Bruins' final Pac-10 regular season games. The Bruins will now play at Washington State on March 1, and then play their regular season finale against archrival Washington on March 3 in Seattle.
Other changes to schedule:
- The Bruins' home game against Washington has been moved from Dec. 30 to Dec. 31.
- UCLA's game at Stanford, originally slated for Jan. 27, has moved to Jan. 28.
- On Feb. 22, the Bruins will host California and then Stanford on Feb. 24.
